Wales 20:20 is a network of Welsh Labour Party members who have come together to consider how Labour’s enduring aims and values can be progressed in the new Welsh political climate. It aims to provide Labour activists with a forum to both spark and facilitate discussion about what needs to be done - both in terms of policy and organisation - to re-energise the social democratic left in Wales. We welcome comments freely provided they are made in a spirit of tolerance, understanding and respect.

Wales 20:20 is about looking a decade or more ahead and identifying the new challenges Wales faces, along with the policies needed to implement progressive values. Renewal cannot happen behind closed doors. It requires open participatory debate in the Party and amongst our supporters about the future direction for Labour in Wales. Ten years ago we had a clear vision about direction, and in those ten years we have done much to make both Wales and Britain better and more fair. Renewal cannot be about looking back, tacking to the left or lurching to the right. It is about moving forward. This is what Wales 20:20 aims to do.
